INTRODUCTION:

The Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Computer Education (JKICE) came into existence in 2003 and has been imparting training to Students in Computer Training. The Institute is providing 1 Month to 3 Years Master Diploma/Advanced Diploma/ Diploma/Certificate all types of Computer Courses (Teacher Training, Computer Application, Computer Software, Basic Courses, Languages, Software, Accounts and Hardware) as well as Fashion Designing courses (i.e. Dress Designing, Dress Making, Cutting and Tailoring). Our centre is ISO 9001:2008 Certified, Certificate No: RQ91/D/421, A Registered Educational Trust. Regd. by DIC J&K Govt Registration No. JRF-34/65 Supported By: - Mother India (A Registered NGO) Registration No. 5572 / S / 07 Registered under Societies Registration Act VI 1998 (1941 A.D.) Affiliated to Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt of India. Being a pioneer Institution in the field of Computer Training, we also imparting training to Students sponsored by Government / Semi-Government, Jammu Uraban Development Agency (JUDA) and Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) (Govt. of India) for undergoing training in Computer. Our institution is established past Seven years and having good infrastructure and technical staff. JKICE has been working with the mission of providing the best education to every class of the society at the very nominal rates. All courses of JKICE are valid for any type of govt. as well as pvt. jobs.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

Over all computer education to literate poor and backward student who cannot afford the costly computer education.
To generate employment by giving the student’s computer education in different fields.
To work on the bases of No Profit No Loss.
All income, earning, moveable and immoveable shall be totally utilized for the purpose of promotion of its aim and objectives.
To Co-operate with other departments and government agencies in the field of computer education.
To give training to poor women, widows and physically challenged persons.
To organize seminars, camps and workshop in different schools and colleges.
To co-operate with other organization of identical nature.
To enhance the skill of poor and needy girls and women by organizing various courses in fashion designing, cutting and tailoring, embroidery, weaving etc.
To aware people about the uses of computer in day to day life.
To help the government in rural and urban development.

MISSION:

As we know that in the present era of competition it is very difficult for the govt to provide the govt job to every citizen due to which the govt emphasizes on the self employment. To achieve the goal of self employment the govt of India in general and J&K in particular have launched various skill development and employment generating schemes. Keeping in view the above mentioned facts JKICE has been working on the mission of helping the govt to eradicate the problem of unemployment for which JKICE has been providing various job oriented vocational courses and the job placement facility to the students.
